
RM 11 091.630.9-83 Requirements for the Degree of Cleaning of Ventilation Emissions
This guidance material (GM) applies to ventilation emissions into the atmosphere and establishes requirements for the degree of cleaning. This GM is intended for use in the industry during work to ensure the required level of atmospheric air purity.
This GM should be followed by all enterprises in the industry that emit harmful substances into the atmosphere.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
Emissions containing harmful substances into the air must be cleaned before entering the atmosphere in accordance with the requirements of sanitary standards for the design of industrial enterprises SN 245-71.
If residual harmful substances remain in the ventilation emissions as a result of cleaning, provision must be made for their dispersion into the atmospheric air. Calculation of the dispersion of harmful substances in the sanitary zone must be carried out in accordance with SN 368-74, and at industrial sites, in accordance with the “Guidelines for Calculating Air Pollution at Industrial Sites of the Central Research Institute of Industrial Buildings.”
