OST 26-01-66-86 Cap trays for steel column apparatuses. Parameters, design
This standard applies to single-flow bubble-cap trays (hereinafter referred to as trays) for steel column apparatus with diameters from 400 to 4000 mm, used in the chemical and other related industries.
The standard specifies two tray designs:
- – non-separable, for column apparatus with diameters from 400 to 800 mm;
- – disassemblable, for column apparatus with diameters from 1000 to 4000 mm.
Trays of Designs I and 2 must be equipped with Type I caps in accordance with GSST 9634-81.
In technically justified cases, trays may be equipped with Type 2 caps (adjustable) in accordance with GSST 9634-81, subject to agreement with the manufacturer and manufactured according to its working drawings. The parameters and dimensions of Type I and 2 trays are listed in Table I.
The layout diagram and installation dimensions for Type I trays in column columns are shown in the drawing in the table of mandatory Appendix I.
The layout diagram for Type 2 trays in a column apparatus with a split flange is shown in recommended Appendix 2.
Trays must be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of this standard, OST 26-291-79, and according to working drawings approved in accordance with the established procedure.
